OVERVIEW

The vision of Renewal Kids is to partner with parents to reach and to raise the next generation for the Lord. We feel honored to journey with children on this great adventure!

We will accomplish this by:

  • Giving all children who come through our doors the opportunity to know and understand the Gospel and to enter into an active relationship with Jesus.

  • Creating an environment in which our children can experience the love of God and love for others.

  • Partnering with parents – the most important influence in a child’s life – to equip our children with tools they need to live a fulfilled, giving, and joyous life through worship, Bible study, and lessons on Christian living.

YOUR VISIT

We welcome you to check out Renewal Kids!

Baby Ministry (Newborn - 17 months)

The Renewal Baby Ministry helps to create an atmosphere of corporate worship for the parent while providing a safe and age-appropriate space for the baby. We have a changing pad, nursing tent, toys, and playmats available. Please review our room guidelines before your first visit! We ask that only one parent stay with the child due to space limitations.

Toddlers (18 months - 3 yrs)

This is the first drop-off class for Renewal Kids! Our Toddlers begin to learn about God through Bible story and worship time, along with age-appropriate crafts, games and other activities. They will have lots of fun meeting friends and learning about church!

Pre-K/Kinder (4 - 5 years old)

Preschoolers and Kindergartners have a great time learning about God, worship, and what it means to love one another. We currently use The Jesus Storybook Curriculum and take the kids chronologically through key stories in the Bible.

Elementary (1st - 5th grade)

Our Elementary kids continue to learn about how to grow spiritually at home and at church. We use the Orange 252 Elementary Series, an engaging curriculum that communicates biblical truths in fun and interesting ways that gets kids thinking!

SAFETY

Safety is a top priority. To ensure the safety of every child, every volunteer has undergone a background check via Checkr and reference check, training, and an interview with the Overseer. We desire Renewal Kids to be not only a physically safe place, but an emotionally and spiritually safe haven as well. We commit to speaking to your children with the love of Jesus while they are in our care!

  • Two or More: There is a Two-Adult rule always in effect. This means we will always have two adults (over the age of 18), at least one of whom is a woman, present while children are present. If there is a situation in which there is only one adult, we will ask a parent to be present.

  • Never Alone: Volunteers will not leave children in a classroom alone. At the end of class, all children must be checked out by an authorized adult with a pickup ticket.

  • Stranger Danger: Our volunteers are trained to not allow unauthorized individuals access to the children while in class.
