Renewal Kids

Overview

Renewal Kids is a fun and safe place for children for all ages to learn about and experience God. Our vision is to partner with parents to reach and to raise the next generation for the Lord.

We will accomplish this by:

1) Giving all children who come through our doors the opportunity to know and understand the Gospel and to enter into an active relationship with Jesus.

2) Creating an environment in which our children can experience the love of God and love for others.

3) Partnering with parents – the most important influence in a child’s life – to equip our children with tools they need to live a fulfilled, giving, and joyous life through worship, Bible study, and lessons on Christian living.

Your Visit

Renewal Kids happens each week concurrent with our 10 AM Sunday worship service. To ensure the safety of our children, every volunteer has undergone training, reference and background checks.

1) We begin accepting children into the classroom 15 minutes before the start of the worship service.

2) Please check in your child at the Welcome Table. Parents are given a security tag and must return it in order to pick up their child.

3) We maintain a “two-adult rule” classroom policy. There will be at least two volunteers in a classroom before we will begin accepting children. Once checked in, children will not be allowed to leave the classroom without adult supervision.

4) The children in our care are always accompanied to the restroom by one of our female adult volunteers.

5) We maintain a “two-adult rule” classroom policy. There will be at least two volunteers in a classroom before we will begin accepting children. Once checked in, children will not be allowed to leave the classroom without adult supervision.

old he will not depart from it. —Proverbs 22:6

Toddlers & Preschool

2 – 5 years

The goal of our Toddler & Preschool class is to provide a loving environment that is safe and God-centered. We believe that even the youngest ones can learn about Jesus in a fun and creative way. We start with a Bible storytime and do age-appropriate activities and crafts to engage your kids. We will also teach them fun songs to worship Jesus with the big kids in the Elementary class! At this age, kids start to learn what it means to love God and one another!

At drop-off on Sunday:

1) Come prepared for class with a bottle of water/milk/formula/etc. and a trip to the bathroom before class begins.

2) Any other snacks or food items.

3) Please make sure your child’s items are clearly labeled.

You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart and
with all your soul and with all your might. —Deutronomy 6:5

Elementary

Kindergarten – 6th Grade

Come ready for a lots of fun! Kids learn how to develop godly character and become followers of Jesus Christ through interactive, visual Bible lessons that utilize media, games, and hands-on activities. They participate in great worship and play fun games that support the lesson.

We want to help your child have the best experience possible. Here are some easy ways that your child can come prepared for a great time every Sunday:

Before drop-off on Sunday:

1) Come prepared for class with a Bible, water bottle, and a trip to the bathroom before class begins. Due to food allergies, we ask parents to refrain from bringing snacks into the classroom.

2) Take some time before class to pray with your child that God will meet with them!

3) Participate in worship with your whole body: stand up, dance, lift up hands, sing, jump around, etc. Be free and have fun!

4) During worship the focus should be on God, not talking to your neighbor.

5) Sit still and listen closely to the lesson.

6) Participate in games, skits, and answering questions when asked and respect all of the teachers and helpers who are serving.

Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path. –
Psalm 119:106
